Our next meeting – tomorrow Saturday 30th October

Please join us at our next meeting tomorrow – Saturday 30th October 2021 – 2pm till 4.30pm (UK/BST)  on Zoom

Our October meeting in the past (pre Covid) has been in the form of an ‘Open Day’ at Solihull Core Library where we have held an exhibition , workshops, helping newcomers to make a start on their research. This year we are offering an Open Day via Zoom! All attendees will be free of charge so bring a friend and spread the word!

We aim to help the newcomers get started and help more experienced researchers with any ‘brick walls’ they may have. We would like to hear of any successes or highlights you have had too!

Agenda

  • Aid in filling out your first pedigree chart – so all first timers to research welcome.
  • Sharing of trees (as you feel comfortable) with open discussion to provide any possible aid in taking best next steps or to overcome a ‘brick wall’ in your research.
  • Mini-workshop or discussion on the five steps of family history research

In essence it is a ‘help with your tree’ or ‘help you start’ – session, which we hope you will feel happy to attend.

This meeting – in line with all our Open Day events – will be free of charge to all-comers.

Please email us here to register for the meeting. You will then be sent the meeting log in details.
