The next meeting of the Caribbean Family History Group is Saturday 30th October 2021 – 2pm till 4.30pm (UK/BST) on Zoom
Our October meeting in the past (pre Covid) has been in the form of an ‘Open Day’ at Solihull Core Library where we have held an exhibition , workshops, helping newcomers to make a start on their research. This year we are offering an Open Day via Zoom! All attendees will be free of charge so bring a friend and spread the word!
We aim to help the newcomers get started and help more experienced researchers with any ‘brick walls’ they may have.
- Aid in filling out your first pedigree chart – so all first timers to research welcome.
- Sharing of trees (as you feel comfortable) with open discussion to provide any possible aid in taking best next steps or to overcome a ‘brick wall’ in your research.
- Mini-workshop or discussion on the five steps of family history research
In essence it is a ‘help with your tree’ or ‘help you start’ – session, which we hope you will feel happy to attend.
This meeting – in line with all our Open Day events – will be free of charge to all-comers.
Please email us here to register for the meeting. You will then be sent the meeting log in details.
