Currently The Bank of England. London have a free Exhibition detailing their involvement in the Slave Trade. Located a short walk from ‘Bank’ tube station in London, the exhibition focuses on two plantations in Grenada, The Bacolet and Chemin plantations. If you have traced ancestors back to Grenada and believe they may have been associated with these plantations you will be able to find the name of 599 slaves who were there in 1788. The exhibition runs until 28th April 2023.
