We discussed how we store our documents at home and how we can obtain copies of birth, death and marriage certificates for the UK. You will need to set up an account with the General Register Office

We also were shown ways of using the search boxes on the Family Search website which would give us better results
We then discussed the merits and pitfalls of using information on other member’s trees on Ancestry.co.uk. Always ensure you check the information you have found yourself to verify it is correct.
