We had a very successful and informative meeting of the Caribbean Family History Group on Saturday.
Following introductions, we shared Family names/islands that we are researching which resulted in further sharing of information.
We then discussed the benefits and pitfalls of using Thrulines on Ancestry DNA.
Finally we were shown the use of French websites in order to search for births/deaths on islands that were former French colonies. If you are searching for ancestors on for example Grenada, Nevis, Tobago
