October Exhibition at Solihull Library

The Caribbean Family History Group are arranging an exhibition at our local library in Solihull to coincide with Black History Month.

The subject is ‘Tracing your Ancestors – enslaved and enslavers, during the Period of British Slavery 1807 – 1850’s’

The exhibition will complement our autumn meetings in September, October and November which will encompass the techniques to use and the websites to view to assist in tracing your ancestors from this period.

We will have an open day on Saturday 29th October at the library from 10am until 4.00pm when you can meet the team and ask us any questions on your research.

Our October meeting on Saturday 29th October will commence at 2.00pm.
