April Research Meeting

AGM meeting and process:

The Constitution will be shared with paid members prior to the meeting, so that you have the opportunity to read the document before the meeting. A separate email will be sent to current members with the Constitution attached.

  1. All roles will be explained
  2. All current members of the Core Committee with roles will stand down
  3. Nominate for the roles
  4. Voted in by other members
  5. Eligibility – needed to have been a member for at least six months to vote
  6. Review the Constitution
  7. If roles are not filled – then do the role as a group

Roles- 

  1. Chair
  2. Secretary
  3. Treasurer
  4. Website Admin
  5. Membership
  6. Social Media
  7. Research specialists- Military; Specific Caribbean Islands

Members will automatically receive the log in for the meeting. If you are a non member and interested in attending, your first meeting will be free of charge. Please come along and join us at Solihull Library or drop us an email and we will send you the log in. Subsequent meetings will be either a one off fee of £5.00 or an annual membership fee of £20. Please visit the Family History Federation Parish Chest at this link where fees can be paid. Drop us an email here and advise us of your payment and your wish to attend and we will send you the link.

April’s research meeting which will follow the AGM will focus on the next steps with your own personal family research. Please be prepared to share your queries- it is a safe space and we will endeavour to assist during the meeting. Please come prepared to share your family tree to enable us to help you.
