i) This month we will focus on a recap of where members are with their research and pick up from the last meeting held before the August summer break. In particular:

. Where are you with your research?

. What developments have taken place?

. Have you had any barriers and how did you overcome them?

ii) Updates from our three subgroups – St Kitts & Nevis, Barbados and Jamaica.

iii) Black History Month (BHM) UK – October 2025.

    There will be an update on our exhibition preparations.

iv) Forth coming guest speakers for October and November research meeting.

British Family Heritage :

Since our last meeting in July 2025 there has been various activities namely,

On Saturday 13th September members of the of the CFHG spent the day in Bristol at the Bristol and Avon History Society (FHS) family history fair. The event provided us with the opportunity to network with like minded individuals, share our passion for family ancestry and assist others with starting their family research.

The CFHG have now joined Instagram, our handle is @cfhgmedia. We will still have an account on Twitter/X @cfhgmedia. Please give us a follow on Instagram and share our page with your personal and professional contacts.

Members will automatically receive the log in for the meeting.  If you are a non member and interested in attending, your first meeting will be free of charge.  Subsequent meetings will be either a one off fee of £5.00 or an annual membership fee of £20.
